About Narbhavi

In 1968, Labour Union Leader T.S. Ramanujan founded Narbhavi T.S. Ramanujan and Mathurabai Ketkar Trust, a welfare center dedicated to the working class. Originally, the trust conducted functional literacy classes for women and children, but they have now expanded into a creche for children aged 1 to 5, as well as training women in needle work and embroidery.
