Arriving in Chennai with limited resources, he began his career as a cycle retailer in Parris Corner during a period when the automobile industry was burgeoning. Recognizing the industry's potential, he transitioned into wholesaling, gradually expanding his operations. Through persistent effort and strategic investments, he established his own production units in Thiruvotriyur, Chennai, marking his evolution from a retailer to a manufacturer.

Mr. K. Eswaran's journey from a labourer to the chairman of the company has deeply influenced his understanding and empathy towards workers. Recognizing the challenges faced by labourers, he proactively distributed 15 kg of rice and other essential provisions to the workers in his factory every month, ensuring their well-being. His commitment to labour welfare caught the attention of T.S. Ramanujam, a renowned labour leader. Together, they implemented several labour welfare models, significantly improving the conditions of workers in their industries.
